Mid Norfolk Gun dogs

Gun Dog Scurry

All work and no play makes any dog dull. The Scurry is a simple retrieving competition open to all dogs.

The Mid-Norfolk Gundog Club has been running for almost 30 years. Started by a group of friends wanting to improve the skills of their working gundogs the club has grown considerably over the intervening years.

The Club remains firmly focused on providing good quality training for retrievers and spaniels and also provides basic training for other working gun dog breeds. Throughout the year the Club runs a range of competitions which test the skills dogs and handlers. They will be running the Gun Dog Scurry each day at the show near the footbridge to the River Black Bourne.

Children's Dog Show

The Children's Dog Show will take place on Saturday at 12 noon at the Terrier & Lurcher Ring. Sponsored by Countryman’s Weekly. Open to all breeds of dogs
