We are delighted to welcome Na Hansell to the cookery theatre next year. In 2024 Na will also be launching courses at her new location, Harbour House, at the seaside in Walberswick, East Suffolk. In her unique home/filming kitchen with 2 AGA’s, Na will be starting with 2 new courses:
’The AGA Day’ – day courses for existing and ‘would be’ AGA cooks, a combined demonstration and hands on day course with Na’s fantastic seasonal recipes to help you make the most of your cooker.
’24 Hours with AGA’ – a unique chance to get to grips with living with an AGA and its special way of cooking. The course runs 12pm day 1 – 12pm day 2 with luxury accommodation in Harbour Lodge next door, included. The courses consists both demonstration and hands on sessions. Cooking on both of the latest modern AGA models, Na will explain what to cook where, show you many clever ways to use the cast iron radiant heat cooking of a modern AGA and share plenty of tips for how to make the most of both the latest AGA models and the traditional ones. During the course, you will learn some key skills for both traditional and modern AGA cooking, work as a group to create a delicious supper with drinks, nibbles, some long slow cooking and delicious dessert to enjoy together on the evening of day 1, and make a fabulous AGA brunch on day 2 including your own sourdough proved slowly overnight.
