Meet The Team

Tracey Grand – Director
I have over 30 years experience in the events industry. We take pride in the game fair offering a great day out for all the family. There is something for children of all ages to enjoy with so many shows and displays and a chance to experience something hands on.
We are a family team and thrive to create an event which is personal and family orientated with something for everyone at an affordable price.
We hope you have an enjoyable experience at the Game Fair.

The East Anglian Game & Country Fair began in 2004 mainly in response to Traders wishing for a show to exhibit at between Easter and the summer show season.
I had been an exhibitor myself for many years so had first hand experience of many different types of events selling footwear in the business I set up at 18.
Later I wished to make use of my degree in Psychology, by completing a PGCE and teaching at ‘City College Norwich’. All of this experience along with my knowledge of farming from my Norfolk ‘born and bred’ family, and a desire to be more ‘home based’ to start a family led to the game fair being born.
The rest as they say is history….
Euston Hall is steeped in history and provides a beautiful backdrop to the already established events on the Estate. Euston Estate provides a more central location for The East Anglian Game & Country Fair, only 30 minutes from Norwich on the A11 near Elveden, with excellent access to Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex. This beautiful venue lends itself to a game and country fair setting, along with offering the opportunity to further evolve and develop the show, with the space and freedom to invite new attractions and events, whilst ensuring that the popular events that we have always enjoyed remain.

Kate Jones – Event Manager
I have worked in Events and Hospitality since the age of 15. After leaving Norfolk briefly to gain a degree in Hospitality Business Management, I realised ‘home is where the heart is’ and decided to further my passion for events in both wedding and event coordinator roles at a number of top venues in East Anglia.
I was fortunate to be offered the Event Manager Role for the Game Fair (initially as temporary maternity cover) back in 2014 and have been part of the furniture ever since!
The Game Fair is a very special event with such a small, family team behind the scenes and I count myself lucky to be part of something that so many people enjoy and look forward to year after year!

Volunteers
We owe an enormous amount of thanks and gratitude to all of our volunteers that make The East Anglian Game & Country Fair happen each year.
Each volunteer brings with them invaluable experience from their places of work and from their charity work for many different causes that they partake in regularly during their free time, many of which benefit directly from the game fair weekend as well.
Some of our volunteers help every year for the duration of the whole weekend, whilst others help for part of the weekend and some opt out for some shows and come back for others, depending on their other commitments.
Each year more and more volunteers ask to be involved in such an exciting show.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to get involved and be part of this fantastic local event. We are looking for all kinds of people to do various tasks, from show set up jobs (erecting fencing, signage and safety barriers), marshalling and ticket checking to helping our top chefs in the cookery theatre and making tea & coffee for all our helpers.
The Game & Country Fair offers the chance for you to be part of something rewarding, refreshing and exciting. If you enjoy working as part of a team and look forward to a weekend enjoying the outdoors, then it’s definitely for you!
If you are interested in volunteering at the East Anglian Game & Country Fair then please send your details to info@ukgamefair.co.uk or PO Box 1230, Norwich, Norfolk, NR11 7WW.We look forward to hearing from you and you will be contacted in due course, many thanks!
