Accessibility Statement

The East Anglian Game & Country Fair is committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming, and accessible experience for all visitors. We aim to ensure that everyone—regardless of disability, mobility needs, or additional support requirements—can enjoy the event safely, comfortably, and independently.

Event Accessibility

We work to make the showground as accessible as possible for all guests. Key features include:

  • Free of charge Parking
  • Accessible Parking — Designated Blue Badge parking areas are located close to the main entrance. Stewards are available to provide assistance where required.
  • Step-Free Access — The event is held on grass parkland. There is also a wheelchair friendly, pedestrian bridge for access to the river enjoying all riverside entertainment.
  • Accessible Toilets — Fully accessible toilet facilities are available throughout the site and clearly signposted.
  • Baby changing Facilities – Available at all main toilet blocks
  • Assistance Dogs — Registered assistance dogs are welcome across the Estate. Fresh water points are available.
  • Discounted Carer Tickets – Available to purchase alongside a ticket for the registered disabled guest. 

Getting Around the Estate

  • Mobility Scooter Hire — Prebookable mobility scooters and wheelchairs are available through an external provider. Early booking is recommended however, there will be additional units to hire on the day. 
  • Seating & Rest Areas — Seating is provided at regular intervals around the show site.

Accessible Viewing & Participation

  • Designated Viewing Area — Our main arena includes accessible viewing space for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
  • Activity Accessibility — Some have-a-go activities may have physical requirements. Exhibitors and activity providers are happy to advise on adaptations where possible.

Support for Neurodivergent Visitors

  • Quiet Spaces — Euston Estate provides numerous hectares of quiet space to provide a calm environment such as picnic areas by the river, open parkland where there are no activities taking place and shaded areas throughout the Estate.
  • Sensory Considerations — Please be aware that the show includes loud displays, animals, and crowds. Our team can advise on quieter times and areas.
