High Lodge are returning once again the host the Clay Line at the East Anglian Game & Country Fair. They will set up a 40 Bird Sporting Competition which offers the experienced shooter the chance to shoot an enjoyable round. Also for those less experienced or complete novices who want to have-a-go they have 3 Instructional stands available where full instruction will be given.

FIBRE WAD CARTRIDGES ONLY 

Entries each day from 9.30am till 4pm Sat and 9.30am till 3pm Sun. OPEN TO LICENSE HOLDERS ONLY and you must bring your own gun. Fibre wad cartridges available to purchase on the day if required. License must be shown. Under 16’s must be supervised by an adult.

Dedicated clay shoot car park area and separate entrance to the show closer to the clay line and Gun Makers Row.

Gold, Silver & Bronze prize fund established on the day according to entry. In addition NEW for 2026 Sponsored by Manor & Co, anyone that shoots using any AYA Gun or Side by Side can also enter these new categories to win £250 in each category on each day. You must confirm on entering so that your scrorecard can be marked accordingly.

Advance Discounted Clay Shoot Competition Tickets

Advance Discount Adult – £19  Junior – £17 (Must be booked before Midday on Mon 20th April 2026)

Advance discounted competition tickets must be purchased alongside a general admission ticket for entry to the show itself. 

On The Day Competition Rates:

Adults – £20

Juniors (under 16 years) – £18

Have A Go Stands.

The Have A Go Stands are a chance for anyone who has not shot before to ‘Have A Go’ at Clay Shooting. All equipment is provided including hearing and eye protection, clays and cartridges with full instruction. The instructors will also provide a suitable gun to use depending on size/age.

Have A Go (10 shots including all equipment and instruction) – £15
(minimum age 9 years)

Gun Storage.

High Lodge is able to offer a gun and bag storage facility whilst visiting the show.

£3.00 per gun storage
£2.00 per bag storage

High Lodge Members enjoy FREE bag storage for 1 bag with every gun paid for storage. Membership card to be shown.
