We are delighted to welcome back Head Chef – Michael Chamberlain to the Game Fair Country Kitchen!
Michael Chamberlain is Head Chef at The Victoria Inn at Holkham, a 25,000 acre rural estate situated on the beautiful north Norfolk coastline. Michael and his team create seasonal, delicious dishes using game and vegetables from the farm and walled garden. The ever-changing evening menu varies with what’s available, so you know every meal is fresh and made with the finest local produce.
Staying in one of The Victoria’s 20 individually-designed bedrooms provides an ideal opportunity to explore Holkham and all it has to offer. Walking just a few minutes from the hotel’s door, you might find yourself birdwatching over the marshes at the Holkham National Nature Reserve, enjoying the sea breeze during a stroll along the beach, or admiring the herd of fallow deer in the parkland surrounding Holkham Hall.
Regular events at Holkham invite you to immerse yourself in the hall and landscapes alongside experts. There’s plenty here to delight all the family, with a ropes course, cycle hire and nature trails, and the Courtyard Café to refuel during a fun day out. Return to The Victoria for an indulgent meal, a superb night’s sleep and beautiful views to wake up to. For those wishing to dine only, we advise booking in advance.
