Foodies can enjoy a special lunch time experience at Barnham Broom with the newly launched Prix Fixe lunch menu. The stylish yet relaxed Brasserie restaurant has a new offering with this new lunch menu which features locally-sourced ingredients and outstanding flavours which have been carefully curated by Head Chef, Mark Elvin who will be demonstration at this year’s show in the Country Kitchen.
Mark says: “Norfolk is blessed with excellent produce throughout the region, from the plentiful pastures to the wealth of fish and seafood caught off the north Norfolk coast. Wherever we can, we use local ingredients in our dishes to ensure you get the very best our fantastic region has to offer.” This philosophy has seen the restaurant go from strength to strength with seasonal menus throughout the year, with is complimented by the use of local suppliers and the front of house team.
The dishes include creamed wild mushrooms with sourdough, charcuterie board and fish bon bons to start and pan-seared sea bream, butternut squash and spinach risotto or hanger steak for the main course. To finish off, diners can try dark chocolate mousse or homemade sticky toffee pudding among others.
Barnham Broom has also recently started proudly serving local wines from the Winbirri Vineyard in Surlingham and these, along with an extensive full wine list, cocktail menu and more are all available to accompany the lunch offering. The lunch menu is perfect for friends catching-up, business lunches and family get-togethers and Barnham Broom looks forward to welcoming new and existing guests to try this new menu, all overlooking the two picturesque 18-hole golf courses and surrounding Norfolk countryside.
